After years of hard work on Starhawk, the game has finally gone gold and will be on store shelves in PAL regions from 9th May. To celebrate, beta testers will get two exclusive items as a way of saying “thank you” from the developers. The first item, The Hand of the Founder, will be awarded to anyone who played the beta.
The PlayStation 3’s first massively multiplayer online role playing game (MMORPG) celebrated it’s third anniversary over the weekend. For those that haven’t jumped into the action, Free Realms is a free 3D online world for all ages where you can do whatever you want, whenever you want.
Sony has published another post detailing more maintenance to the PlayStation Network. The maintenance is scheduled for May 3rd 2012 (this Thursday) between 05:00 and 11:00 BST, but will be limited to the games listed below. The rest of the PSN will be unaffected.
Can you believe it? It’s been two years since ModNation Racers was first launched on PlayStation, but the community is still growing strong. The PlayStation Vita version of the game, Road Trip, has helped keep the success going – just check out the numbers for yourself: 629,972 Tracks, 1,331,405 Mods and 1,221,817 Karts for a total of 3,182,817 creations!
Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus content subscribers can expect in May. Unfortunately, there will be no PSOne Classic title included in next month’s update, instead, you can get your hands on the PS2 Classic Max Payne. There are also a massive 17 new full game trials for you to try out too.
PSN maintenance is scheduled to take place today, 26th April 2012, from 16:00 until 23:00 BST. Unlike other downtime periods, this maintenance will not cause any disruption to game play however it is possible that there may be intermittent effects on a small number of users.
PlayStation Home received a new update yesterday, bringing the client to version v1.65. The update brings improvements to speed and ease of use on the menu screen, graphical UI tweaks, clearer representation of furniture limits, and much more.
