Rovio, the developer behind the Angry Birds game on iOS and Android, has confirmed that the game is heading to consoles. Activision is publishing the HD console versions of the Angry Birds Trilogy, who said the game will retail for $39.99 on the PS3 – a big difference compared to the iOS version, where all three titles would set you back a mere $6.
Two New Screens for GTA5 Released by Rockstar

Rockstar have released two new screenshots from their upcoming title: Grand Theft Auto V. The new images were released as part of their Asked & Answered series on their blog. The two screens aren’t much, but show the crisp graphics and details that has gone into the game so far.
Metal Gear Solid 4 Finally Gets Trophies via Free DLC

Konami has confirmed in a press release that METAL GEAR SOLID 4: Guns of the Patriots will be getting new DLC to celebrate the series’ 25th anniversary. The patch will finally add trophies to the game – 34 trophies in total. The trophy list has yet to be revealed, along with details on if the trophies will unlock retroactively.
Top PSN Sellers for June 2012

Sony has revealed the top selling PS3, PS Vita, PSOne and PSP games and DLC for June 2012. On the PS3, Magic: The Gathering – Duels of the Planeswalkers 2013 takes the top sport with The Walking Dead – Episode 1 dropping to 2nd. On the PS Vita, Gravity Rush was the top downloaded game followed by Table Top Tanks.
Malicious Releases Date Revealed

Sony has revealed the release date for Malicious, an original action game for PS3 from Japanese studio Alvion. The game will be available to download from the PlayStation Store on July 24th 2012 – only two weeks away – for $9.99.
PSN Play Returns with Four New Games

Sony has announced the return of PlayStation PLAY in North America, the annual summer program showcasing a diverse lineup of great PSN games and special offers. PSN PLAY begins July 24 on PSN when the first game in the lineup becomes available for pre-order
Persona 4 Arena is Region Locked

Atlus USA has confirmed that Persona 4 Arena will be region locked, in North America at least, which is unusual for a PS3 game. It’s currently unclear if the European version of the game will be region-locked too. The game releases in Japan later this month, with North America and Europe to follow in August.
Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 Delayed Until October

According to EuroGamer, first-person stealth shooter Sniper: Ghost Warrior 2 has been pushed back until October, missing it’s original release date of August 21st in North America and August 24th in Europe. Publisher Namco Bandai have yet to give a reason for the delay.
The Walking Dead: Episode 3 Available Next Month

Episode 2 of The Walking Dead was released in North America back in June, and only just arrived in Europe yesterday. Telltale Games have revealed Episode 3, Long Road Ahead, will be available to download sometime in August.
