In addition to the 12 Deals of Christmas, SCEE is also holding a festive sale on the PlayStation Store starting today. The festive sale brings even more great offers on a range of titles including Deus Ex Human Revolution, Just Cause 2, 007 Legends, Prototype 2 and Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater HD.
New PSN games are available on the PlayStation Store in North America this week, including cross-play title Big Sky Infinity and Black Knight Sword. PS2 Classic Grand Theft Auto San Andreas is also available on the Store this week, along with two new games for PlayStation Plus subscribers as part of the Instant Game Collection.
The tenth annual Video Game Awards took place over the weekend, which also saw a number of new game trailers. We’ve collected all the trailers together for you to view right here, which includes Bioshock Infinite, The Last of Us, Tomb Raider, and Assassin’s Creed III: The Tyranny of King Washington.
The sixth Deal of Christmas is now live on the European PlayStation Store, marking the half-way point of the promotion. Over the next 48 hours, gamers will be able to get 50% off Medal of Honor: Warfighter, which has been reduced from £59.99/€69.99 to £29.99/€39.99. In addition, PlayStation Plus subscribers can get an additional 10% off.
New PlayStation Plus content goes live in North America later today, adding two new games to the Instant Game Collection, including Super Street Fighter IV: Arcade Edition. Last week, BioShock 2 joined the collection, making three games added already this month.
BioShock Infinite has been delayed for a third time, according to a report by Eurogamer.net. Originally scheduled for release in October this year, the game was later pushed back to February 26th 2013. But now Irrational Games’ Creative Director, Ken Levine, has told press that the game would roll back a further four weeks to March 26th 2013 for some last-minute “polish and bug-fixing”.
The fifth Deal of Christmas is now available from the PlayStation Store, giving gamers a massive 67% off Sleeping Dogs. The game has been reduced from £49.99/€59.99 to just £15.99/€19.99, with PlayStation Plus subscribers getting an additional 10% discount (£14.39/€17.99).
As promised last week in a short teaser trailer, Naughty Dog has released a new trailer for The Last of Us, alongside revealing the official release date for the game, pre-order content and the official boxart. The full trailer can be viewed below, while the game is scheduled for release on May 7th 2012.
SCEE has released the PlayStation Store Charts for November 2012, revealing that Assassin’s Creed III was the top selling PSN title, up from fourth place. New title PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale never made it into the top 10 list on either platform. On the PS Vita, Assassin’s Creed III Liberation was the top title for the second month in a row.
Retro City Rampage has gone into certification with SCEE, meaning a European release of the game isn’t too far off now. The developers have used the extra month of time to update the game, making the European version of the game a improvement of the version released in North America back in October.
