Following the announcement of launch day PS4 bundles by Sony, Amazon UK has started sending out emails to pre-order customers allow them to upgrade their package to one of 6 bundles. The bundles differ slightly from the ones GAME are offering, and range from £389 to £489.
FIFA 14 is still going strong in the UK Games Chart, keeping the top spot for the second week running and holding back Grand Theft Auto V to second place. F1 2013 debuts on the chart in third position, while FIFA’s rival, Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 drops to tenth. You can see the complete top 10 titles below.
Ubisoft have just announced the existence of the Assassin’s Creed Heritage Collection, featuring all five previous Assassin’s Creed titles (not including the upcoming Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag). The collection will be exclusive to PAL territories and will be available from November 8th 2013 in the UK.
Sony have revealed the contents of the Beyond: Two Souls Special Edition pack in the form of a new trailer, showing footage of the extra DLC mission. In addition to an extra 30 minutes of gameplay, the special edition also includes the game’s official soundtrack, PSN avatars, steel book packaging and more.
Amazon has updated the LOVEFiLM application on PS3s in selected European countries to version v2.03, and making the application slightly easier to use. The application’s interface has been tweaked slightly to use a new orange colour scheme, and the icon has been updated from the old LOVEFiLM logo to a joint Amazon / LOVEFiLM icon.
Gran Turismo 6 is right around the corner, and more details about the game are surfacing, including information about the game’s new tracks. In addition to featuring the infamous training ground of GT Academy, Silverstone Circuit, the game will also include the Bathurst Circuit in Australia.
The release date for the next Ratchet & Clank title has been revealed by Sony. Ratchet & Clank: Nexus (or Ratchet & Clank: Into the Nexus as it’s known in North America) will be releasing on the PS3 this November for a price of €29.99 / $29.99. The game will be available both as a digital download and Blu-ray disc from retail stored from November 12th 2013 in North America, and November 13th in Europe.
A number of new PS3 and PS Vita games are available on the PlayStation Store in Europe this week, with a massive 12 new PS3 games available for download, including rain, Atelier Meruru Plus and F1 2013. The Beyond: Two Souls demo is also available to download along with access to the Battlefield 4 beta. You can also find new DLC for a number of PS3 and PS Vita titles.
The official changelog for PS3 Firmeare 4.50 has been revealed, and allows all users to now take advantage of automatic updates – a feature that was previously exclusive to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
Sony is planning to combat PS4 shortages in the UK by providing regular shipments of the console, with Sony UK Boss Fergal Gara suggesting a second wave of stock to arrive within days of the November 29th launch. Speaking with Eurogamer, Gara confirmed that “everybody who has pre-ordered to date will definitely get a console prior to Christmas. The cut-off date for that was 5th August.”
