The sequel to Earth Defense Force 2017, Earth Defense Force 2025, has been confirmed for release on the PS3 in February 2014 in North America and Europe. In addition to a release window, the game’s pre-order incentives have also been revealed. Four weapon packs will be available when pre-ordering the game or by purchasing the DLC.

Call Of Duty: Ghosts Resolution Confirmed at 1080p on PS4

Infinity Ward’s Mark Rubin has confirmed, via the twitlonger service, that Call of Duty: Ghosts will be running at a higher resolution on PS4 than on the Xbox One. The PS4 version will run at 1080p resolution natively, while the Xbox One version will be upscaled to 1080p from a 720p resolution.

Following tweets about Knack‘s PS4 install size and Killzone: Shadow Fall‘s installation size, we have confirmation on how much space both games will take based on the game’s box art. The back cover for Knack shows that the game requires 37 GB of space at the minimum, while Killzone: Shadow Fall requires a massive 45 GB, despite what Guerrilla Games has said in the past.
PS4 Firmware v1.50 Already Available to Download

Sony have uploaded the PS4 Firmware v1.50 to the servers ahead of the console’s launch in North America and Europe next month. Although Sony has confirmed that the update can be downloaded in the background while playing single-player games, but if you want to update your console straight away, you can download the firmware update beforehand.
