Final Fantasy IX is already available to download in Europe and Japan for a few weeks now, and is finally heading to the US PlayStation Store. Sony has announced that the PSOne classic will be available to purchase from June 15th 2010, for $9.99. Final Fantasy IX is playable on the PSP and PS3, but be sure to have at least 2GB of free space available.

MotorStorm Apocalypse Announced
With E3 just around the corner, Sony has announced yet another new title for the PlayStation 3: MotorStorm Apocalypse. In the same way that the first MotorStorm was set in Monument Valley, and MotorStorm Pacific Rift was set on ‘The Island’, inspired by Hawaii and other Pacific islands, we’ve set this MotorStorm in ‘The City’, inspired by the West Coast of America, and, in particular, the Bay Area of California.
Dead Nation PS3 Trailer Revealed
Sony has revealed the first trailer for Dead Nation. The title was first announced at Gamescom in Cologne last year but you can expect more news on the title at this year’s E3. Developers Housemarque and Sony Computer Entertainment have been pulling out all the stops over the past year to make this game a nerve shredding, atmospheric and action packed experience. 3D Gaming Now Available on PS3
The first set of 3D games are now available to download from the PlayStation Store. By downloading the 3D Collection you can play WipEout HD, SuperStardust HD, PAIN and a MotorStorm Pacific Rift demo in amazing stereoscopic 3D. If you already own the games you can upgrade for free or you can download all four for the bargain price of €29.99.
FirstPlay Episode 10 Details
FirstPlay Episode 10 is now available to download from the PlayStation Store. Episode 10 features the last of four free Minis titles, the super-addictive sci-fi arcader, Aero Racer (worth £3.99). This week’s videos features two hands-on HD previews. The first is with Tecmo Koei’s meaty sci-fi shooter Quantum Theory and the second is Backbreaker.
PlayStation Network Maintenance Today
The PlayStation Network will undergo scheduled maintenance today, June 9th from 8am PST / 4pm GMT. The PSN will be down for several hours, during which time users won’t be able to access the PlayStation Store or Account Management, and may encounter some difficulty while signing in to PSN.
Yakuza 4 Coming To The West in 2011
SEGA has announced that the four title in the Yakuza franchise will finally be heading to the West in 2011. 4 is a very powerful number in this particular installment as not only will you experience the gritty atmosphere of Kiryu Kazuma’s experiences, three other characters will also be available to play. Each of them with their own engaging backstory and a gripping interwoven plot.
Red Faction: Armageddon Officially Announced
THQ Inc. has announced the next title in the Red Faction franchise, Red Faction: Armageddon. Red Faction: Armageddon moves beneath the surface of Mars as the fate of the planet hangs in the balance. As Darius Mason, players fight to save humanity from an even greater evil that threatens to extinguish all life on the planet.
The Sims 3 Debut Trailer
The Sims 3 hasn’t made its way to the console yet – even after being available on the PC for over a year. But that’s soon to change. Earlier this year EA officially announced The Sims 3 for the PS3, Xbox 360 and Wii, with a scheduled release window of Fall 2010. Today, the first trailer for the game has been released, which can be found below.
MAG Interdiction DLC Coming June 22nd 2010
It’s been just over four and a half months since MAG released worldwide and 930,000 battles, 1.7 million players, and 1.1 billion kills later, the time to expand is now. Zipper Interactive has announced that the Interdiction expansion pack is coming to the PlayStation Store on 22 June 2010 for €7.99.
