Look out for a good 11 hours to downtime to the PlayStation Network next week. The PlayStation Network will be unavailable on November 18th 2011 for approximately 11 hours, between 16:00PM and 3:00AM. As usual, you will be unable to sign-in to any PlayStation Network services.

Sony updated the Music Unlimited application on the PS3 last week, bringing some great new feature asked by the community. Cosmetically, you’ll probably first notice that Sony’s new branding has finally landed on PS3. More importantly, however, the new app gives you added control over how you listen to and access music.

This week’s episode features a look at The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim in the Game of the Week feature, complete with gorgeous new footage. Earlier today, PlayStation Home was updated with an all new design that will feature a revamped Home Square and a new “districts” design that will help you find games, people and places that fit your favourite game genre. Games, people and places are now easier to access than ever before and help form part of the biggest social casual gaming service on any console.
To support the retail release on Uncharted 3 this week, you can now download three classic skin packs featuring a total of 25 character skins from Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune and Uncharted 2: Among Thieves from the PlayStation Store as downloadable items for your UNCHARTED 3 multiplayer experience. Each pack is yours for €2.99/2.39.
Grand Theft Auto’s first trailer has arrived, and it gives us a few ideas of what to expect from the new game. Rockstar has confirmed that the new game focuses on the city of Los Santos and its “surrounding hills, countryside and beaches.” It is, apparently, the “largest and most ambitious game Rockstar has yet created.”
