With just a few days to go until the big PlayStation VR event, Sony Computer Entertainment vice president Masayasu Ito has gone on record to state that the device will be “affordable” and for the “mass market”. In an interview with Polygon, Ito has re-iterated that the device will be priced like a new platform, but will be cheaper than the main competitors: Oculus Rift and HTV Vive.

22 New Games Added to PlayStation Now Library

Sony is continuing to expand the PlayStation Now library, adding a further 22 new titles this week. You can now play over 180 games on the cloud gaming service, including new additions like Uncharted 2: Among Thieves and Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception, all for as little as £12.99 a month.
Tom Clancy’s The Division Breaks Ubisoft’s Day-One Sales Record

Ubisoft has announced that Tom Clancy’s The Division has broken the company’s sales record for most copies sold in the first 24 hours of release. Unfortunately, the company didn’t announce any specific sales figures for the game, which is available on PS4, PC and Xbox One, but the count did include digital sales.
PAL PlayStation Store Chart for February 2016

SCEE has released the PlayStation Store Chart for February 2016, revealing the top selling digital games across all three PlayStation platforms. On the PS4, Firewatch was the top selling game, beating Far Cry Primal, which came in 2nd place. On the PS3, FIFA 16 continued to top the chart, but Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare made a re-entry in time for the sequel.
Play Uncharted 4’s Multiplayer Mode This Weekend

Naught Dog is opening up the Uncharted 4 multiplayer mode this weekend to give gamers a chance to try the game, and further stress test the multiplayer servers, matchmaking and more. The multiplayer beta is available to pre-load now from the PlayStation Store, but you won’t be able to play until 5:00pm on 4th March 2016.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End Delayed by Two Weeks

Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End has suffered a second delay, while productions wraps up on the game. Naught Dog confirms that the game is on track to go gold, but the delay is to allow extra manufacturing time to meet global demand for the game. As a result, the game will now be launching on 10th May 2016, instead of 29th April 2016.
PS4 Firmware v3.50 Features Detailed

Sony has revealed details about what the next major PS4 Firmware update will include. PS4 Firmware v3.50, codenamed Musashi, is going into beta testing tomorrow, 2nd March 2016, and will include some frequently-requested features including Friend Online Notifications, and the ability to Appear Offline.
Hitman PlayStation Plus Beta Announced for 4th March 2016

Hitman is due for release on 11th March 2016, but those eager to try out the game ahead of launch can take part in a new, limited beta. This is on top of the beta that took place on the PS4 two weeks ago. All PlayStation Plus members will be able to download and play the Hitman beta from 4th March 2016, but it will only be available that weekend.
PlayStation Plus Line-up for March 2016 Revealed

Sony has revealed the six new games coming to PlayStation Plus in March 2016, which includes the winner of the recent Vote to Play poll, Broforce. The new games will be available in North America and Europe as part of the PlayStation Store update next week, on 1st March 2016. The other games you can look forward to include Super Stardust HD (PS3) and Flame Over (PS Vita).
Sony Holding PlayStation VR Event in March 2016

Sony are getting ready to reveal more details about PlayStation VR at an upcoming event, scheduled to be held in San Francisco on 15th March 2016. The event will kick-off at 2pm PST, and will include a presentation followed by hands-on demos until 6pm PST. We’re hoping that the event will include details about the official release date and pricing.
