In July 2014 gaming websites were flooded with news of a glitch, created through a software update, which enabled players to enter GTA V’s mysterious casino. This closed-off building has been a source of intrigue for fans since GTA V’s release, with the casino’s blacked-out windows and suggestive ‘opening soon’ sign leaving players desperate to know what will lie behind the doors.
When a game comes with the official endorsement of FIFA (regardless of the other PR problems the organisation may be experiencing at the moment) you expect it to be at the top of its game. And FIFA 15 is as good as its 14 predecessors in this regard.

Pure Pool is the first realistic pool simulator for the PS4, developed by indie developer VooFoo Studios and published by Ripstone. The studio also developed Hustle Kings on the PS3, and used their skills to build Pure Pool from the ground up. It has to be said that this game looks amazing, with its beautiful high definition graphics and silky-smooth gameplay.
There are many types of games available for gaming consoles today. Unfortunately, not all of them became popular. Many gaming categories have struggled in finding space among game console players and one struggling category is casino games.
inFamous: Second Son has to be one of the best games we’ve played on the PS4 so far, and it’s definitely a visually appealing game. Sucker Punch has gone a great job of using the PS4’s features including those on the DualShock 4. Here are five things the game does really well.
LOVEFiLM recently revealed that it will be stopping the games rental part of it’s service to focus on “providing world-class film and TV subscription services.” The news came as a huge disappointment to existing customers, including myself, having been a customer for many years purely for it’s game rental service.
We recently received a beta code to try out FirstPlay, the interactive magazine for the PlayStation 3 and similar to Qore. The first public episode of FirstPlay launches next week, on April 8th 2010. New episodes will be released weekly costing 99p each or gamers can purchase three-month subscriptions for £8.99, consisting of 13 episodes per quarter.
We were recently invited down to a secret location near London Bridge to attend a Lost Planet 2 preview event hosted by Capcom. At the event we got a chance to play some 8 v 8 competitive multi-player and 4 player co-op. Here is what we though of the upcoming game, expected in May 2010.
Before playing Heavy Rain I was quite skeptical of the game. It was something that was never done before in a game and the story was said to be deeper than your typical game. Director David Cage has stated that Heavy Rain would be “a very dark film noir thriller with mature themes”, and that “the real message [of the game] is about how far you’re willing to go to save someone you love.”
The Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta is currently underway until June 28th 2009 and we were lucky enough to get invited to join in through our GAP membership as well as being a Qore subscriber. We spent a few hours over the weekend playing the game to bring you our thoughts.
