On February 22, 2011, Killzone 3 will storm store shelves in more ways than one. Guerrilla Games have revealed a limited Helghast Edition of the game in additon to the standard edition. PlayStation Network will be offline later today for scheduled maintenance from 16:00 until 00:30 on Friday 29 October 2010, BST. During the maintenance window you will be unable to access PlayStation Network services on all devices and play games online, unless you sign-in before the maintenance period.
Today is the launch of PlayStation Rewards, a new program that recognizes and rewards users for simply doing what they love – playing games and interacting with the entertainment content that PlayStation has to offer. The beta starts today and will be an invitation-only beta to all eligible PlayStation Plus and Gamer Advisory Panel (GAP) members.

Blacklight: Tango Down hits the PlayStation Store later today, and to celebrate its release, Sony have released a brand-new, exclusive gameplay video and a piece of never-before seen concept art. Blacklight is a fast-paced, action-oriented, first-person shooter that takes place in 25 years in the future.
The 30th episode of FirstPlay will be available to download from the PlayStation Store this Wednesday. This week’s issue follows the horror theme with Halloween just around the corner. You can find previews of F.3.A.R. and Shadows Of The Damned, a look at the meanest video nasties on the PSN Store, and play-throughs of three of the scariest LittleBigPlanet levels.
Last month, the PlayStation celebrated its 15th Anniversary, and this month another milestone is reached. The PlayStation 2 is now ten years old and one of the best selling consoles of all time, with more than 140 million units around the world. The PlayStation 2 was also the first console to hit 50 million units sold in North America.
