Crysis Available on PSN Today with 3D Support

The original Crysis title hits the PlayStation Store in North America today, followed by Europe tomorrow. The game has been remastered for the PlayStation 3 making use of fully deferred lighting, a PS3-specific rendering pipeline and SPU-enhanced physics code, together with more efficient memory layouts and more intelligent algorithms.
Sony Launches PlayStation Network Import Section in Europe

Gamers who have missed out on PSOne games from Japan will be happy to hear that Sony is launching the PlayStation Network Import Section on the PlayStation Store. MonkeyPaw Games has released the first three games for this new section, that never made it to European shores, all imported in their original Japanese form.
Sony Confirms All Future First-Party Games will Use PSN Pass

If you prefer purchasing your games second-hand, this bit of news is for you. Sony has confirmed that the PSN Pass will be used on all future first-party games. Resistance 3 was the first title to incorporate the PSN Pass and yesterday Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception was confirmed to be the second title to use the pass.
Final Fantasy XIII-2 Release Date and DLC Details Revealed

Square Enix has announced the release date of Final Fantasy XIII-2, the long awaited sequel of 2009 Final Fantasy XIII. The game is slated for release in Japan on December 15th, and will come with a limited edition “PlayStation 3 Final Fantasy XIII-2 Lightning Edition Ver.2” bundle pack.
Uncharted 3 Multiplayer will Require PSN Pass

According to Sony Software Manager Juan Jimeñez, Naughty Dog’s Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will be the second PlayStation 3 exclusive title to make use of the PSN Pass scheme. Each copy of the game will ship with a single-use code to allow your console to access to the multiplayer features.
SCEA Announces ‘Only On PSN’ Program

SCEA have announced a new program called “Only On PSN,” which features brand new games that are exclusively available on PlayStation Network throughout October. Every week starting tomorrow, October 4, you will find new titles, unique to PSN that are part of this program.
SCEE Confirms PS2 Classics Coming to European PS3

Earlier today, TheSixthAxis spoke to SCEE, who confirmed that Classic PS2 titles will be coming to the PlayStation 3. SCEE doesn’t know if “Classic PS2” will be the official term coined for the collection, but if it is, then it simple like its PSOne counter-part.
Uncharted 3 Multiplayer Experience Opens to PlayStation Plus Members

PlayStation Plus subscribers in Europe, South Africa, The Middle East, Australia and New Zealand will get a chance to play Uncharted 3‘s competitive multiplayer experience before the full game releases on November 2. The Uncharted 3 competitive multiplayer experience will go online for PlayStation Plus subscribers on Wednesday, October 5, 2011.
