PS3 fans can really go for gold this June with the arrival of the limited edition metallic gold DUALSHOCK 3 controller. Sony has announced a limited edition metallic gold Dualshock 3 controller in time for the London 2012 Olympics and Euro 2012 Football.
The latest trailer for Transformers: Fall of Cybertron has been released, fresh from E3 2012. The game is being developed by High Moon Studios, who also developed Transformers: War for Cybertron back in 2010. The game features a bigger cast of characters and larger environments compared to their previous title.
As a special bonus for PlayStation Assassins, Ubisoft are including exclusive unlockable content for Assassin’s Creed III, available only on the PlayStation 3. Just for choosing to play Assassin’s Creed III on the PS3, you’ll be able to download four additional single-player missions at launch.
If you weren’t lucky enough to visit E3 this year, you can still check out the virtual experience in PlayStation Home. The virtual E3 experience is only available on the PS3, and it will only be accessible for a limited time. The E3 Home Space features all the games featured in Sony’s Press Conference, including God of War: Ascension, Assassin’s Creed III, PlayStation All-Stars: Battle Royale, LittleBigPlanet Karting and more.
The second PlayStation Store update for this week in North America is now live. You can find a new demo from E3 2012 as well as more trailers and videos from the event.
According to a Facebook post, the Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee HD remake has been scrapped in favour of a complete reboot of the game. The post reads, “OK, so here’s the skinny on Oddworld: Abe’s Oddysee. We decided to reboot it, not just an HD update to the original PS1 title, this is a NEW game.”
PS3 Games
The first wave of beta invites for DUST 514 will be going out on June 29th 2012 and will run throughout that weekend. If you don’t get invited in the initial phase, you may still get a chance as several invite phases are planned. Also, starting this week as part of Sony’s Virtual E3 experience, DUST 514 will be fully integrated intoPlayStation Home.

The US PlayStation Store has been updated with 12 blockbuster titles worth over $260 for PlayStation Plus subscribers, all available to download for free. The collection includes inFAMOUS 2, LittleBigPlanet 2, Saints Row 2, Just Cause 2, and Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine.
