Invites for the latest PS5 System Software beta are now rolling out to gamers part of the beta program. If you have been invited to take part in the beta, you’ll receive a PSN code via email. Aside from the usual stability and performance improvements, the beta only adds one new small feature to the PS5.

The main changes in this version are:
- Unicode 17.0 emojis are now supported. You can use them in your messages.
- We’ve improved the messages and usability on some screens.
- We’ve improved system software performance and stability
