New State of Play Shows Demon’s Souls Gameplay

November 8th, 2020 / Niraj Shah / News

Sony has released a new State of Play video featuring new gameplay footage for PS5 exclusive Demon’s Souls. The new 12-minute video is a deep-dive into this PS3 remake, including a look at character creation and the first area of the game: Gates of Boletaria.

Some of the mechanics use the original code from the game, like the combat timing, but with the graphics, animations and other elements remade for the PS5.

The video is narrated by SIE Worldwide Studios Creative Director Gavin Moore, and focuses on the game’s offline experience. But when the game launches on 12th November 2020, it will also include asynchronous and synchronous multiplayer.
