How Does PlayStation Home Casino Match up to Online Casinos?

November 27th, 2014 / Niraj Shah / News

Comparing the experience of playing at on online casino such as Sky Vegas, bgo, or Genting Casino with playing at Paradise Springs Casino on PlayStation®Home on the PS3 is a little like comparing apples and oranges, or chalk with cheese. And that’s because of one major difference – at the online casinos you can play with real money.

And that’s something you certainly can’t do (yet, at least) on PS Home Casino. For many players, the fact that you can’t play for real money kind of takes some of the thrill out of playing those casino classics such as poker and blackjack at Paradise Springs.

Of course, one way to look at it though, is that playing at the Paradise Springs Casino can be great training for playing on real money casino websites. You may not have ever played blackjack, so why risk real money when you can play the games without it? Similarly, with poker, there’s a lot to learn in terms of strategy and choosing which bets to place. Why not hone your poker skills at PS Casino and then try it out for real?

Another big difference between Paradise Springs Casino on PlayStation®Home and the casino websites is the number of games that a player has at their disposal. Just take a look at the range of ice casino bonus bez depozytu and you’ll see that there is a huge amount of choice. Not only are all the major casino games represented but as well as a wide selection of slots, there’s also a number of different versions of roulette, blackjack and other table games. And then there are the other games, such as bingo, scratch and keno. At PS Casino, however, the choice is much narrower.

On the PS Casino Concourse there’s the Keno parlour and Casino War. There’s the Blackjack Room where, without wishing to state the obvious, you can play blackjack, and the Poker Room where the single poker variety that’s on offer is the one that’s the most popular in the online poker world – Texas Hold’em. There are multi-player tournaments that you can take part in too. In the main PS Casino, you’ll find slots games and Big Wheel 6. Just as in the online casinos, there’s a VIP room at the PS Casino, and you can only get in here with a Special Access Hat – earned through the amount of playing that you do. Once you’re into the VIP room, the games are at high stakes.

It’s not really possible to compare the online casino websites with PS Casino, as PS casino is a social gaming network that’s only open to people with a PSN account, while the online casinos allow any player to sign up and start playing with real money. However, if you’re interested in casino games and you own a PS3, then why not head into the Paradise Springs Casino? The games are fun and free, and you can use them to develop your playing skills before you head out into the world on online casino gaming with real cash.
