A Dutch retailer may have accidentally leaked the PS4’s release date to the world, ahead of an official statement from Sony. A image posted on NeoGAF by member Cyborg shows retailer Media Markt in Amsterdam, Netherlands listing a November 13th release date in-store.
Since an official release date hasn’t been confirmed, we’ve tagged this as a rumor for now. Sony has responded to the rumor in their usual manor, saying “No further announcements/comments to make at this time. PlayStation 4 is launching this holiday season.”
Several online retailers have also listed November 13th, 2013 as the PS4’s release date. Retailers like Amazon and Play.com still have a generic date listed, however.
