E3 2010: Sony Wants to Keep the PSP Going for 10 Years

In an interview with Joystiq, John Koller, Director of Hardware Marketing at SCEA, said that the PSP will be around for 10-years. Koller stressed once again that the first PSP will have a 10-year cycle: “There is definitely a 10-year life cycle for the PSP, and maybe even more.”

The PSP has sold over 60 million units worldwide, though the PSPgo has been struggling to reach significant numbers. The platform has 70 new titles being released over the next 12 months, from full-blown games to Minis and more. Check out the video interview from E3 2010 below.
