FreePlay’s PSPgo Exploit Patched By Firmware v6.20

November 23rd, 2009 / XTREME PSP / News
0

Remember the PSPgo exploit we reported on a while back (see here and here)? Unfortunately, the exploit has now been patched in the latest Firmware update from Sony. FreePlay has revealed that the exploit used a gamesave exploit in Archer Maclean’s Mercury. If you still have Firmware 6.10 installed and own a copy of Mercury, you can still make use of the exploit.

The PSN version of the game has also been patched to use Firmware 6.20 and fix the exploit. For now, the PSPgo is once again secure. Until a XMB-based exploit comes around, you will have to wait longer for a custom firmware.

Exploit, Patch, PSPgo
