We’re not sure whether this is real or not, but in a podcast released late last month IGN accidentally reveal they have a PS3 Slim in the office. If this is real, it isn’t the first time something like this has leaked. Rumors of the PS3 Slim have been circulating around for quite some time now, starting with supposedly leaked photos to a recent video of the PS3 Slim in the Philippines. Around 45 minutes and 30 seconds into the Podcast you will notice the quick chatter about the rumors and the confirmation of having one in the office.
The dialog in question is:
“Because we have one for real.”
“Yeah, but that’s…”
“Yeah, but that’s under wraps.”
“Sorry, I wasn’t supposed to say that, was I?”
“We can edit that out. David can edit that out.”
“45 minutes. OK.”
This could easily be a ploy to get people to download the podcast or it could be a genuine mistake. We don’t know so we’ve tagged this article as a rumor until Sony actually confirm.
