Need help installing and applying XMB themes on your PlayStation? Then check out the video below. All you need is a USB flash drive or Memory Card and some themes.
Put the themes in the “PS3/THEME/” folder of the flash drive or memory card and connect it to your PlayStation 3.
- Go to [Settings] > [Theme Settings] and select [Themes]
- Select [Install] and select the device to search.
- If themes are in the correct folder, you will see a list of themes you can install. Select one to install.
- After installation, the theme will appear in the Theme list. Press CROSS to bring up the onscreen menu and select [Apply] to apply the theme.
You can delete a theme by highlighting the theme you wish to delete from the Themes menu and press TRIANGLE to bring up the onscreen menu. From the menu, select [Delete] to delete the theme. You can switch back to the default XMB theme by selecting [Original]
