The latest episode of Qore is now available to download from the PlayStation Store. PlayStation Plus subscribers can download episode 27 for free, which features a look at Kane and Lynch: Dog Days, Splatterhouse, and TerRover. In the latest installment of “On the road with Qore,” Veronica visits Kyoto, Japan—home to historic temples and shrines and a world-famous manga museum.
The July episode of Qore hits the PlayStation Store later today and features a look at Killzone 3, Majin and the Forsaken Kingdom and the PlayStation Move. Veronica Belmont visits Guerrilla Games and takes a look at the pre-Alpha version of Killzone 3 and speaks to managing director and co-founder Hermen Hulst, and senior producer Steven ter Heide.
Qore Episode 25 features lots of new titles including the new Lara Croft game: The Guardian of Light. Qore Host Veronica Belmont visited developer Crystal Dynamics to bring you up-to-date on Lara’s action-packed, puzzle-solving adventure. Veronica also take a look at the upcoming PixelJunk Shooter 2 and PixelJunk Racers: 2nd Lap from Kyoto-based developer Q-Games.
Qore Episode 24 is now available to download from the US PlayStation Store today and includes a early look at LittleBigPlanet 2. The team visited Media Molecule in the UK to understand how the creativity of the community inspired them to push the boundaries in the sequel to transform the platform game into a platform for games.
If you purchased or subscribed to the April episode of Qore earlier this month, the Qore team have a little surprise for you. Episode 23 will be updated to allow customers to download an exclusive demo of ModNation Racers for the PSP. The demo will be available to download from tomorrow, April 22nd 2010, by visiting the download center in the episode.
The new issue of Qore will be released later today as part of the PlayStation Store update. Episode 23 takes a look at the carnage and glory of God of War III, with Veronica Belmont interviewing game director Stig Asmussen and lead combat designer Adam Poole about the entire process, from developing Kratos’ character model and enlivening the Gods to creating the scale of the epic Titan battles.
With Final Fantasy XIII just released, Qore’s got an in-depth walk-through of this stunning title. Get the real story on the story, characters, and fascinating insights provided by exclusive interviews with creators Motumu Toriyama, Yoshinori Kitase and Yuji Abe. Future and Sony Computer Entertainment Europe have today announced the launch of FirstPlay – Europe’s answer to Qore and the first HD interactive show for gamers, exclusive to the PlayStation 3 and available to those living in Europe. Like Qore, FirstPlay aims to bring gamers HD reviews of previews of the latest games and content, including exclusive PSN downloads. FirstPlay will have it’s own unique menu system and interface – different to that of Qore.
Qore Episode 21 is now available for download from the PlayStation Store, and lucky subscribers get to download the God of War III E3 demo from the download center. The February Episode also contains information on on the latest game in the Yakuza series, and a look at Battlefield: Bad Company 2‘s multiplayer component.
The January 2010 issue of Qore is on the way, featuring Dante’s Inferno, Heavy Rain, Bayonetta and BioShock 2. Veronica Belmont circles around EA to experience how the developer plans to bring the epic 14th century poem to life in Dante’s Inferno. The Heavy Rain coverage includes an extensive preview and an interactive cinema demonstration of the consequences of a few of the choices you can make.
