The Ultimate Firmware 2.40 In-Game XMB Guide

PS3 Firmware was released on July 2nd 2008, but was taken down after reports of the update causing problems. Seeing as not everyone has managed to update their PS3, we’ve taken it upon ourselves to bring you a list of in-game XMB features you are (not) missing out on. As you may already know, you cannot access most parts of the XMB from within a game, so we have compiled a list of features you can access (see below), and included screenshots.

    We recorded the video using a Neuros MPEG4 Recorder for the PSP (PS3 has to be in SD resolutions and you need some adapters). The screenshots were taking from a PSP using Remote Play and a Homebrew Screenshot Plug-in.
