It’s not often that a game gets released earlier than expected, especially if you live in the UK. Sony has confirmed that Uncharted 3 will be released in the UK two days earlier than expected. Europe will see the release of the game on Wednesday the 2nd of November, one day after North America.
The Uncharted 3 Beta went public earlier this week, opening up access to all PlayStation Network users. Since it went public, more than 1 million players have accessed the beta, and is rising every day. The first two games have been massive hits on the PlayStation 3, so its no doubt that games are excited about the third title.
Missed the Closed Beta of Uncharted 3? Don’t worry – you can now download the Public Beta from the PlayStation Store. The beta will run until July 13th 2011, during which time the content and game modes will change over the course of the testing period.
The Uncharted 3 Beta got off to a disappointing start earlier this week, with a number of issues affecting playability. The Welcome Back PlayStation Plus offer give every PSN user access to the beta, and a few hours after going live the servers were overloaded with lots of players trying to connect at the same time.
At the SCEA Press Conference at E3 2011, Naughty Dog Co-Presidents, Evan and Christophe, took the stage and with just a short intro, and launched into the first live demo of Uncharted 3 ever shown publicly. Like most recent games, Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception will be coming with pre-order bonuses and special collector editions for hardcore fans. Uncharted 3 will have two collectors editions, both of which are detailed below. The best of the two is the Explorer Edition, which comes with lots of bonus content.

The press event began with the first ever demo outside of Naughty Dog halls of UNCHARTED 3: Drake’s Deception in stereoscopic 3D. Those lucky enough to be at CES 2011 today were treated to a special extended 3D trailer of Naughty Dog’s latest installment: Uncharted 3: Drake’s Deception. The trailer is pretty similar to the VGA trailer revealed last month, but with a few extra scenes added towards the end.
