Tekken will be getting the free-to-play treatment this summer when Tekken Revolution hits the PS3. The game was revealed in GameSpot’s E3 preview (below) at 19:30 into the video (below). The game will be releasing on the PlayStation Store tomorrow, June 11th, 2013, and may be shown off at Sony’s E3 Press Conference tonight.
A new Tekken collection is heading to the PS3. TEKKEN Hybrid, due for a pre-christmas release, will feature three bone-crunching goodies on one Blu-ray Disc. Tekken Tag Tournament HD; Tekken Tag Tournament 2 Prologue and Tekken Blood Vengeance.
The year is 2039. World Wars have destroyed much of civilization as we know it. The remaining territories are no longer run by governments, but by corporations, the mightiest of which is Tekken. In order to keep the masses down, Tekken sponsors the Iron Fist Tournament in which fighters compete to the death for ultimate glory and receive a lifetime of stardom and wealth.
Advanced high definition graphics and 3D animation technologies create the most impressive HD visuals in Tekken history. Sun-shaft, glare, flare, depth of field effects and new shading systems add new visual depth and animate the atmosphere of battle fields like never before. Tekken 6 also includes the new stages and characters of Tekken 6: Bloodline Rebellion. Tekken 6 features 50 unlockable trophies in total, including 11 secret trophies.
Episode 15 of Qore is out tomorrow and will feature some highly anticipated PS3 titles. Veronica Belmont heads to Seattle to get the 411 on Zipper Interactive’s MAG. You can also expect coverage on Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2, Tekken 6 and Katamari Forever. Episode 15 also includes a exclusive Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 XMB Theme and a new Rune Raider level pack in the Qore Arcade.
