The Official PlayStation Page for Greece on Facebook has accidentally revealed that the next major firmware for the PS4, version v1.70, will be releasing next Wednesday, 30th April 2014. The Facebook post has since been deleted, but not before we were able to snap a screenshot of it.

EU PlayStation Store Update for April 23rd 2014

New PS4, PS3 and PS Vita games are available to download on the European PlayStation Store this week, including Octodad: Dadliest Catch (PS4), Putty Squad (PS4 + PS Vita) and SoulCalibur Lost Swords. You can also find a selection of new DLC content and five new PS Mobile games to enjoy.
PlayStation Plus Line-Up for May 2014 Revealed for Europe

SCEE has revealed the PlayStation Plus line-up for May 2014, revealing the five new games joining the Instant Game Collection. May’s PS4 game will be Stick it to The Man, which will launch on the PS4 and join the IGC simultaneously. On the PS3, you’ll be able to download Payday 2 and Puppeteer.
Sony Releases New SHAREfactory Video

Sony have released a new video showing the upcoming SHAREfactory application that will be included in the next PS4 firmware update, v1.70. The new video covers the video editing features coming to the console, including adding text, stickers and video commentary.
US PlayStation Store Update for April 22nd 2014

Lots of new content is available on the US PlayStation Store this week, with three new PS4 games, three new PS3 games and five new PS Vita games added. New games include Octodad: Dadliest Catch (PS4), Cel Damage HD (3-way cross buy), and Starlight Inception (PS Vita).
inFamous: Second Son Patch v1.03 Now Available

inFamous: Second Son has received a major patch, adding a number of new features and tweaks to the game, including addressing some gamer feedback. The patch includes a number of fixes for rare crashes in the game, allows you to disable the HUD, and a new Photo mode.
PS4 Firmware v1.70 Details Revealed

Sony has revealed new details about the PS4’s next major firmware update, version v1.70. The firmware will be releasing soon and will add some significant new features, including SHAREfactory – the new rich video editor application; and the ability to transfer your recorded gameplay videos to a USB device.
PS4 Sales Reach 7 Million Units Worldwide

The PS4 is continuing to sell well across the world, with the latest figures from Sony revealing that 7 million units have been sold globally as of April 6th 2014. In terms of software, more than 20.5 million PS4 games have some at retail and on the PlayStation Store as of April 13th 2014.

Final Fantasy XIV PS4 Launch Issues

You would think that after the two PS4 betas and the launch issues experienced with the PS3 version of Final Fantasy XIV, Square Enix and Sony would take extra precautions that the PS4 version of Final Fantasy XIV would be successful. However, once again the game is experiencing issues, with many gamers unable to play the game.
