Depending on your region and the tier you choose, the cost of a 12-month subscription will increase as much as $40 / £20 / €32. Sony has dropped the price of PlayStation Now this month, making the subscriptions service cheaper to access. Depending on where you live, you could save 50%. Sony has announced that the cost of PlayStation Vue’s multi-channel plans are set to increase starting 24th July 2018. The four plans: Access, Core, Elite and Ultra; will each go up by $5 per month, and will come into effect for current subscribers by the end of the month. The price increase does not affect the add-on and standalone channels.
With the price of PlayStation Plus going up in Europe at the end of this month, Sony is giving subscribers a reason to extend their subscriptions early by offering 15 months for the price of 12. You will be able to “stack” your existing subscription by 15 months for £39.99.
Sony is bringing the cost PlayStation Plus in the UK and Europe in-line with the rest of the world in August, increasing the cost of all subscription levels. Sony America increased the price of PlayStation Plus back in September 2016, and in August, Sony Europe will be following suit.
In an unusual move, SCEA has announced that the cost of PlayStation Plus will be going up in North America, starting from 22nd September 2016. In the first major price increase for the service, the cost of PlayStation Plus will go up from $49.99 USD / $49.99 CAD for a 12-month subscription to $59.99 USD/ $69.99 CAD. Prices for 3-month and 1-month subscripts are also affected.
