European ModNation Racers Beta Coming In 2010

Qore subscribers will already know that the ModNation Racer Beta will be starting next week. For Europe, Liam Quigley, the European Product Manager for ModNation Racers, has revealed a localized beta test will starting in early 2010. The beta will run for two weeks and will feature exclusive European content to give gamers a taster of what it to come in ModNation Racers. Details on how to sign-up for the beta will be revealed in the next few weeks, but in the mean time, check out the sticker and layering walkthrough video below.

Qore Episode 19 Details

Qore Episode 19 will be available to download from the PlayStation Store later today. The December Episode features a in-depth preview of Capcom’s Dark Void, Level-5 Inc’s White Night Chronicles and EA’s The Saboteur. Following from last month’s coverage of ModNation Racers, Qore subscribers will receive exclusive access to the ModNation Racers Beta Test.

Episode 18 of Qore hits the US PlayStation Store later today. Episode 18 features ModNation Racers and their take on the “play, create, share” ethos of LittleBigPlanet, and another look at Assassin’s Creed II with an in-depth look at an all-new mission set in Venice. ModNation Racers Is PS3 Exclusive Because Of PlayStation Network

The PlayStation Network vs. Xbox Live debate has been going on for some time, with fanboys/girls from both camps arguing why one is better than the other. There’s at least one developer out there that believes the PlayStation Network is superior to Xbox Live. United Front Games, the developer of upcoming title ModNation Racers, wants “everyone who buys a copy of the game is able to get online for free and then share all this content.”

It’s been over a month since ModNation Racers was first announced, at E2 2009. In case you missed Sony’s Press Conference at E3, the PlayStation.Blog has now released the ModNation Racers trailer for everyone viewing (see below). If you are unfamiliar with the game, its follows the same concept as LittleBigPlanet: play, create and share; except its a racing game. You create a player and design a car and then even design a track. Everything can be shared via the online community. Once you are done, race on your newly made track or many of the available right out of the box.
