Over the next few months, the UK retail chain GAME will actively phase out trade-ins and pre-owned game sales. Standalone GAME Stores across the UK will continue selling pre-owned games, but only until stocks last.
GAs reported over the weekend, England is going into a second lockdown from 5th November 2020, for at least four weeks. GAME has confirmed that PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in-store pre-orders will be affected unless the consoles are paid for in full by close of business on Wednesday, 4th November 2020.

Sony seem to be catching up with PS4 demand, in the UK at least, with the PS4 now back at stock at GAME stores. The standalone console and various bundles are available to purchase in stores and online. At time of writing, the console is still in stock but they may not be for long. Tesco also has stock available, while Amazon.co.uk will be getting more stock in next week.
