If you live in the UK, you may have noticed a new icon appear on the XMB today. You can now access LOVEFiLM’s massive catalogue of online movies to stream directly to your PS3. If you aren’t already a customer, you can sign up for a free 30 day trial. Streaming is free with monthly subscription of £5.99 or £9.99 and above.
LittleBigPlanet 2 isn’t too far away now so you can expect plenty of new trailers popping up over the coming weeks. In the mean time, Sony has unveiled not only the official packshot for Europe and other PAL countries, but a Collector’s Edition has also been revealed.

This week you can find episode 32 of FirstPlay, which hits the Store this Wednesday, along with an exclusive demo Premier Manager. Episode 32 features previews of Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood, a round-up of recent releases and a review of Predators on Blu-ray.
Back in November 2008, Sony released the official Bluetooth Headset for the PlayStation 3. Now, two years later Sony had announced a new version of the official headset, retailing for the same price of $49.99. The new Bluetooth Headset for the PS3 offers the same unparalleled gaming experience as the previous model.
Last week we reported that Sony had shipped over a million PlayStation Move units in North America. Sony has since then released a cool infographic showing various PlayStation Move stats. A few noteworthy stats include “60% of people interested in buying the PlayStation Move already own a Wii,” and “Since May, purchase intent for the PlayStation Move among PS3 users has more than doubled.”
Later this week, PlayStation Home will be getting a major update, bringing the core client version to v1.4. This update will have an enormous impact on users and developers alike, as it is literally jam-packed with new and revised features. The update includes new features like grouping and voice chat, wardrobe improvements and more.
On the European PlayStation Store, this month’s PlayStation Plus update is now available. You can find a number of full game trials including the God of War Collection, as well as discounts on a few PSN games. You can also download three dynamic themes and two PSN avatars for free.
