Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) today announced that the PlayStation 3 will be available for a new lower price. The PS3 with 160GB hard disk drive, currently available at a recommended retail price of £249 will be available at a very attractive new RRP of £199 in the UK.
Although THQ hasn’t revealed an exact date for the Upcoming Darksiders sequel, Danny Bilson of THQ has revealed that the game is scheduled for release in June 2012. In Darksiders II, you’ll take on the role of “Death,” one of the dread Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, in a weaving adventure that runs parallel to the events of the original game.
Harvard Bonin, Sony Santa Monica Studios’ Senior Producer on Starhawk, has been talking to the US PlayStation Blog and has suggested that Warhawk fans will get the first taste of the Starhawk Beta. Its still unclear when the beta is scheduled for but no doubt that players will be lining up to give the game a go.
Sony’s new portable console will not only expensive for early adopters, but the games will also leave you strapped for cash. The first pricing details for PSVita games have been revealed in Japan, suggesting RRP prices will be as high as ¥6,090, which is $80 or £50.
If you are looking to purchase an affordable 3D display, you will be happy to know that the Official PlayStation 3D Display is now available for pre-order. Although the release date is still under wraps, online retailer Amazon has put the display up for pre-order. The display, together with MotorStorm Apocalypse, can be purchased for $499.99.
MotorStorm Apocalypse has received a massive update, adding lots of new features to the game. One of the biggest additions is the ability to create and share game modes and vehicles.
