With the holiday season in full effect, Sony is giving PlayStation Plus subscribers extra discounts and free games. The total value of all this month’s offers total over $250 with about $50 being free games. This month’s free content includes the PS3 full game Tomb Raider: Underworld and PSN game Marvel Pinball.
Similar to the ‘12 Deals of Christmas‘, PlayStation Plus subscribers can also look forward to 12 gifts through December. Starting today, PlayStation Plus subscribers will be able to download one title from PlayStation Store at no extra cost, every two days – this will include 8 PSN titles, two minis and two PSone Classics.
According to EA, Battlefield 3 has now sold over 8 million units worldwide and has shipped over 12 million to store shelves. In general, the Battlefield franchise is still far away from reaching the sales figures the Call of Duty franchise has achieved over past few years.
