Sony has revealed that the PlayStation Store will be getting a overhaul next month, presumably to tie-in with the launch of the new PS3, re-launch of Digital Comics and launch of PlayStation Mobile. The re-design will make it “even easier for you to find and download the content you love from the comfort of your sofa,” according to Sony.
EU PlayStation Store Update for September 19th 2012

Double Dragon Neon is free for PlayStation Plus subscribers this week in Europe. Borderlands 2, Jet Set Radio and SSX are the latest PS3 games to be added to the store. You can find new DLC, Videos and PSOne and PS2 titles in this week’s update too.
PS3 CECH-4000 Specification

We have the full technical specification of the new “Super Slim” PS3 model, it’s vertical stand and the official 250GB hard drive, announced at TGS 2012 earlier today. The console weighs in at 2.1kg – compared to the PS3 Slim 3.2kg weight. The new model also consumes less power at 190w compared to the PS3 Slim’s 250w power supply.
US PlayStation Store Update for September 18th 2012

This week on the North America PlayStation Store, PlayStation Plus subscribers get SSX added to the Instant Game Collection. The Resident Evil 6 demo is also available to download, and new games including Borderlands 2 and F1 2012 can be purchased from the Store.
TGS 2012: Sony Unveils “Super Slim” PS3

Sony has unveiled the new smaller and lighter PS3 model, known as CECH-4000, at Tokyo Games Show earlier today. The new model will come with two different configurations and will be launching in September and October, respectively. The new model is 20% smaller, and weighs 25% less than the current Slim model.
Need For Speed Most Wanted: Single Player Trailer Released

EA have released a brand new trailer for upcoming Need For Speed title Most Wanted. This time, the trailer shows more of the single-player mode in the game, with footage of the Speedwall feature.
Goldfinger Missions Confirmed for 007 Legends

Activision has confirmed that the fifth James Bond film to be included in upcoming title 007 Legends will be Goldfinger. The game will feature a series of levels based on one film from each Bond actor, with the others announced being; Die Another Day (Brosnan), Moonraker (Moore), Licence to Kill (Dalton) and On Her Majesty’s Secret Service (Lazenby).
WipEout for PS4 Still Alive

Despite Sony closing down Liverpoool Studio a few weeks ago, we’re happy to reveal that WipEout for the PlayStation 4 is still alive. Yesterday, the official WipEout 2048 Twitter feed tweeted ‘WE. ARE. ALIVE’ and the picture below. The game was previously thought to have been cancelled after the studio was disbanded.
NiGHTS into Dreams Coming to PSN in October

SEGA has revealed the release date for Saturn classic NiGHTS into Dreams, which has been remade into a HD title. The game will be releasing in early October and will come with Christmas NiGHTS, an additional, seasonal themed adventure which was originally given away by magazines and on special promotions.
Polish Retailer Teasing New 12GB PS3

According to a Polish retailer, a PS3 will be coming to Europe on September 28th, just a few days after TGS 2012 ends in Tokyo, Japan. According to Polish site Polygamia.pl there will be a 12GB SSD PS3 which will retail for €199 and it will be joined by a bigger 500GB PS3 model which will cost €299.
