Retro City Rampage is finally releasing in Europe and other territories next week after a very long wait. Like its US counterpart, the game will be cross-buy and cross-save compatible, giving gamers the PS Vita version for free when they purchase the PS3 version (or vice versa).

Over the weekend, it’s been confirmed that the PS3 has ended production worldwide. The very last PS2 console has come of the production line, marking an end to the best selling console of all time. Sony Files Patent for Technology to Block Used Games

Publishers and console manufactures have been battling with the second hand games market for a while now, but a recent patent filing by Sony could soon change the fight in favor of publishers. The patent, filed by Sony on December 9th 2012, uses NFC technology to recognise if the inserted game has been played by another user, using a different account.
EPIX Coming to PS3 and PS Vita

Sony is always expanding the entertainment options on the PS3 and PS Vita, and the latest announcement is the launch of the EPIX app on the PlayStation Network. EPIS provides premium content, with more than 3,000 new and classic feature films, concerts, stand-up comedy and sports shows.
