Square-Enix has revealed a new trailer for upcoming title Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII from Gamescom 2013. The new trailer, titled “Savior’s Choice”, takes you into The Wildlands; a rough expanse of wilderness that will reunite Lightning with Chocobos, Moogles, and an old friend: Sazh.
Sony has confirmed that the DualShock 4 controller will be available in two other colours, in addition to the standard black one that comes bundled with the console. The company announced “Magma Red” and “Wave Blue” DualShock 4 controllers will be available for purchase too.
The official box art and pre-order bonuses for PS4 launch title DriveClub have been revealed, with three different pre-order packs available depending on your local retailer. Each of the three packs has an exclusive livery design, instant access to a supercar and a “boost of fame to increase your driver level”.
At their Gamescom press conference, Sony revealed that Xbox 360 and PC title, Minecraft, will be coming to the PS4. Later it was confirmed that the title would also be coming to the PS3 and PS Vita. The news was confirmed by Adam Boyes, who is part of Sony’s Publisher & Developer Relations team , via Twitter.
Sony kicked off it’s Gamescom Press Conference in an unusual way earlier today, giving the world’s first live demo of the PlayStation 4′ Dynamic Menu. Shuhei Yoshida was in the hot seat showing off just how fluid and responsive the menu is, seamlessly switching between the Dynamic Menu and right into a multiplayer match in Killzone: Shadow Fall.

A new trailer for upcoming PS4 title, inFamous: Second Son, was revealed at Sony’s Gamescom Press Conference earlier today, showing more of the game and just how impressive it’s looking. The new trailer reveals new smoke powers for Delsin, and introduces a new superhuman with her own unique powers.
In addition to revealing plenty of PS4 and PS Vita games at Gamescom, Sony has also unveiled the official release date for the PS4 in North America and Europe. The next-gen console will be launching in North America on November 15th 2013, and Europe on November 29th 2013.
At Sony’s Gamescom Press Conference, the company has announced that a new LittleBigPlanet is in the works, and will be free-to-play. The game will be coming to the PS3, but no release date was revealed. As with previous LBP titles, the game will allow users to create levels and characters using various tools, objects and accessories.
Grand Theft Auto 5‘s achievement list has leaked out ahead of the game’s release next month, giving away spoilers for the game and what it entails. While the list is for the Xbox 360 version of the game, it’s very likely that these will translate directly into trophies for the PS3 version (as was the case with GTA IV).
