Sony has released a new advert for the upcoming PS4, showing the many reasons why the PS4 should be the console you should choose, citing quotes from media, and taking some subtle shots at the Xbox One. The advert is based around Sony’s #4ThePlayers slogan, and lists just some of the exclusives available on the console as well as the exclusive DLC available on selected games.
EU PlayStation Store Update for October 23rd 2013

Over ten new PS3 games are available on the PlayStation Store this week, including Batman: Arkham Origins on the PS3 and PS Vita, Rocksmith 2014 Edition and digital version of God Of War: Ascension. Two new betas are available on the Store too for PlayStation Plus subscribers, as well as plenty of new DLC content.
Dark Souls II and Destiny of Spirits Betas Available to PlayStation Plus Subscribers

Two exclusive betas have been made available to PlayStation Plus subscribers this week, including Dark Souls II on the PS3 and Destiny of Spirits on the PS Vita. Both betas are time sensitive, with the Dark Souls II beta available only for a few hours this Sunday, October 27th 2013.
US PlayStation Store Update for October 22nd 2013

Lots of new content is available on the US PlayStation Store this week, including the ability to pre-order a number of PS4 and PS3 titles. The store has nine new PS3 games available for download this week, and one new PS Vita title. Cross-buy title Hotline Miami has also been added to the Instant Game Collection for PlayStation Plus subscribers.
GTA V Continues Rein of UK Games Chart

Grand Theft Auto V continues to top the UK games chart holding back FIFA 14 for another week. PS3 exclusive Beyond: Two Souls has slipped to sixth place with the new comer Skylanders Swap Force debuting in third place. The remainder of the top 10 remains largely unchanged with F1 2013, Just Dance 2014 and Minecraft: Xbox 360 Edition continue to place in the top 10.

Fans will be happy to know that Killzone: Shadow Fall on the PS4 has gone gold, meaning development on the game is complete, and the game is ready for mass production. The game is on schedule for the PS4’s launch, and now the developers can focus on post-launch DLC.

inFamous: Second Son Collector’s Editions Revealed

Sucker Punch Productions has revealed two special editions of their upcoming PS4 title, inFamous: Second Son, exclusive to gamers who pre-order the game. The Limited Edition will come with a foil cover and Cole’s Legacy DLC content for $59.99, while the Collector’s Edition will include plenty of extras for only $79.99.
Rumor Alert: PS4’s Red Line of Death?

Like the PS3 YLOD (or Yellow LED of Death), the PS4 also has a similar status light dubbed the “Red Line of Death” (or RLOD). If a recent photo is to be believed, the PS4’s Blue line turns Red when the console overheats, while an onscreen error message indicates “very high temperature”, explains an eyewitness.

Grand Theft Auto V has returned to the top of the UK Games Chart, knocking down the previous holder, FIFA 14, to second place after holding first position for two weeks. PS3 exclusive Beyond: Two Souls also debuts on the chart this week in fifth position.
