Very soon, Sony is launching a brand new space in PlayStation Home called Buzz! HQ, where you can chat and meet up with other quiz fans in a new lobby area or take part in a multiplayer Buzz! quiz game extravaganza. The game space will feature a huge game stand with four coloured answer buttons are laid out on the floor. When asked a question, you must be standing on the right answer when the time runs out.

PlayStation.Blog Europe Is Now Live
The wait is finally over – the official PlayStation.Blog from Sony Computer Entertainment Europe (SCEE) is now live. “Now that we’re here, it’s our hope that this blog will grow to become a one-stop-shop for your daily fix of PlayStation news from across the SCEE region,” says Charlotte Large, on the SCEE PlayStation.Blog. Just like the US sister-site, the European PlayStation.Blog will be sharing all the latest PlayStation news, interviews, trailers, event coverage and much more; everything will come firsthand from the people who work at SCEE, in the development teams and across third parties.
Crash Commando Patched

A patch for Crash Commando is now available to download. The patch makes a lot of game play and UI improvements to the game (details below). In addition, a demo of the game will be available to download from the PlayStation Store after today’s update. The demo will let you try a level in the single player offline mode. Olof Gustafsson, CEO at EPOS Game Studios, has also announced that downloadable content is on the way.
Sony Announces VidZone

VidZone is coming soon to PLAYSTATION 3 this summer, bringing thousands of streaming music videos to watch whenever you want, completely free of charge. All you have to do is download the VidZone music video application from PlayStation Store, free of charge, and access the service via the icon that appears under [Music] on the PS3 Home Menu (XMB). That’s all you have to do to get free, unlimited access to thousands of music videos, with many more coming in regular updates.
PixelJunk 1-4 Named
A few weeks ago Dylan Cuthbert, President and Executive Producer of Q-Games Ltd., unveiled PixelJunk 1-4 in trailer form and simultaneously launched their naming contest for the game as well. Q-Games gave fans a chance to name the fourth installment in the PixelJunk series. Anyway, the results of the competition are finally in! Q-Games is proud to announce that the name of the game is PixelJunk Shooter. Andy, the artist behind the style of the game, has knocked up a stunning logo that emphasizes the liquid element really well.
PlayStation Video Store Update for May 22nd 2009

This weeks new releases and top downloads for the US PlayStation Video Store are now live. You can check out the new movies and TV releases below. “Terminator” is a big part of this weeks update – you’ll find all three released Terminator movies, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles TV series, and Terminator Salvation: The Machinima Series, plus your favorites from Arnold Schwarzenegger and Christian Bale.

PlayStation Store Update for May 21st 2009

This week on the PlayStation Store, there are lots of new playable demos and a whole bunch of new game add-on content available for download. The inFamous demo can is available from both stores and the Killzone 2 4D interactive demo is finally available on the European store. There is new game add-on content for MotorStorm, FEAR 2, LittleBigPlanet, Rock Band, Guitar Hero and more. Check out the complete list below.
Killzone 2 “Flash and Thunder” Pack Arriving on June 11

The second downloadable pack for Killzone 2 will be hitting the PlayStation Store on June 11th 2009. The new pack, Flash and Thunder, will arrive after E3 and will feature two new maps: Beach Head and Southern Hills. The maps are from the original Killzone for PlayStation 2 but have been completely remade for PS3. The new downloadable pack will be available for purchase for $5.99. In addition, a new Killzone 2 patch will be arriving next week.
Resistance Game Space Coming to PlayStation Home

In a press release yesterday, Sony Europe announced that a Resistance themed Game Space is invading PlayStation Home. The Game Space area in Home features a recreation of the Chicago Railway Station level from the current PS3 hit Resistance2, which sees America under siege from the Chimeran hordes. The Game Space will be available later on today in PlayStation Home. The Resistance Game Space will feature awesome turret-style FPS mini-game, reward items, leaderboards and full-on game launching support. Check out the video below.
