The next issue of Qore has been delayed due to revision of content. Episode 13 was expected to launch last week to coincide with E3 and the announcement of the PSP Go!. As you may have read, the Qore feature covering the PSP Go! was leaked last month prior to the official announcement. “We are currently revising the content of the episode to bring you the most up-to-date information,” states the email from Sony.
The Uncharted 2 multiplayer beta is currently underway until June 28th 2009 and we were lucky enough to get invited to join in through our GAP membership as well as being a Qore subscriber. We spent a few hours over the weekend playing the game to bring you our thoughts.
This week, a new “Inspired by Video Games” section has been added to the US Video Store, featuring movies and TV shows that first dazzled the video game world before they lit up the big and small screens. Now, you can download all the action, stunning visuals and spectacular sequences, brought to you by PlayStation Network. As for regular content, there are loads of new movies and TV shows now available to download (check out the list below).
If you are planning to upgrade to the PSP Go! this October, you’re probably wondering what will become of all those UMD games you’ve purchased over the years. Although the UMD format will continue, you won’t be able to use them on the PSP Go! unless you have digital copies of the game. Its looks like Sony has already come up with a solution. According to John Koller, “We’re in the midst of putting together a good will program. […] So we’re looking at a short term good-will program that would continue for years afterward.”

PlayStation Home is about to get a whole lot better. Photo sharing, the first feature to support user-generated content, is finally coming to PlayStation Home starting today. You will have to purchase a photo frame from the Shopping Mall, but you can then upload photos from your hard drive or select from a gallery of default pictures, and then display them in your personal apartments. Now you can really customize your home in a unique way.
Final Fantasy VII was made available on the US PlayStation Store earlier this week after Sony’s E3 Press Conference. PAL gamers will be glad to hear that Final Fantasy VII will be made available on the European PlayStation Store as part of today’s weekly PlayStation Store update. There were no details on pricing but we speculate that it will cost between £5.99 – £7.99 based on the US PlayStation Store price of $9.99.
