Sony Has Many Games for 2010 Up Their Sleeves
Sony has had a great 2009, with gamers buying 15% more PS3 games than 2008. The PS3 was also the only console in the U.S. to see double-digit growth in sales this past quarter. December also marked the best sales month in the platform’s history, breaking one million hardware units and 7.3 million software units. January has seen a 36% sales increase on compared to last January.
God of War III Vengeance Trailer
It’s been almost a year since Sony last released a video of God of War III for the world to see. Last night, a new video was released showing the high action of the game and snippets of several of the big moments in the game. Everything is pulled straight from the game – there is no trickery, etc. Everything is running in “real time.” There are no “cinematic” sequences here, meaning this is all gameplay.
PS3 Firmware 3.20 Will Include 3D Support
The latest firmware update for the PS3 was recently released to developers to install on “debug” consoles. Some images of the new firmware have been leaked (as usual) and clearly shows a “3D video output” option. With the release of the first 3D TVs just months away, Sony is already preparing to add 3D support to the PS3.
Heavy Rain Nudity and Sex Scene Leaked
Once again, scenes from Heavy Rain have been leaked for all to see. The game is only a few weeks away now but you can check out still images of Madison Paige undressing and taking a shower, and the still of the game’s sex scene. Of course, if you are waiting to play the game, we recommend not looking at these photos so that the story and excitement is not spoiled. These images are not safe for work.
The Tester Preview Show Now Available
With a week to go until The Tester debuts on the PlayStation Network, Sony has released a preview of what you can expect from the reality program. A special preview show of The Tester hosted by actor, comedian, hardcore gamer, and judge Hal Sparks is available to download from the PlayStation Store today, and you can also find a short trailer below.
Emotional Heavy Rain Scene Leaked
The story in Heavy Rain is so deep and powerful that it’s hard not to emotions when playing the game. The reason why this game is designed for a mature audience is because it requires an emotional response from a player. Some decisions you have to make in the game can have you second guessing yourself, and this is exactly what Quantic Dreams want. A scene from the game (see below) shows one of the tough decisions you have to make.

Warhawk is finally getting it’s own personal space as part of today’s PlayStation Home update. The Warhawk Personal Space delivers a dedicated environment that hosts not only the Sand Table, similar to the Game Space, but also a full-on Warhawk-themed multiplayer mini-game, all while offering the perfect launch point for your next mission.
Celebrate Valentine’s Day in PlayStation Home
If you are in a long distance relationship or have a virtual lover, why not celebrate Valentine’s Day in PlayStation Home? PlayStation Home is being updated this week to include some Valentine’s Day content, including an update to the SingStar Game Space and new t-shirts. Also, the Audi A1 will be revealed this week on the Audi Space, where the currently locked showroom will open it’s doors for the first time.
Bad Company 2 Getting Launch Day DLC
Battelfield: Bad Company 2 is set for release on March 2nd 2010 in North America and Europe a few days later, on March 5th 2010. In addition, DICE will also be releasing two exclusive downloadable content packs on launch day, both for free. The game will have an in-game store when you can download the content from. “I think people will be thrilled to see what’s in [the store]. On day one, you will get some really cool stuff,” said senior producer Patrick Bach in an interview.
