Sony has confirmed that The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy has now gone gold and been delivered for manufacturing. The Ratchet & Clank Trilogy will be released on Wednesday 27th June across Europe,Thursday 28th June in Australia and New Zealand, and Friday 29th June in the UK and Ireland.

PlayStation Network and Store Offline

The PlayStation Network appears to be currently down, despite no scheduled downtime today. Sony are aware of the issue, however, and posted the following tweet on the official PlayStation account: “PSN and Stores are currently unavailable. We’ll let you know as soon as they’re back online.”

Expendables 2 Game Outed By Australian Classification Board

The Australian Classification Board have rated an ‘Expendables 2’ game which will be published by Ubisoft, giving the game a ‘MA 15+ Restricted’ rating due to the strong violence in the game. It’s unclear which platforms the game will be available on, but the rating did mention an online component to the game.

PS3 Assassin’s Creed 3 Bundle Details

Announced at E3 2012, the Assassin’s Creed 3 PlayStation Vita and PlayStation 3 bundles are now available for pre-order online. The PS3 bundle costs $299.99 and will include a black 320 GB PS3 and Assassin’s Creed 3 on Blu-ray. The Vita bundle costs $249.99 and include a white PS Vita system, a 4 GB memory card, and Assassin’s Creed 3: Libreration on card.
Final Fantasy XIV PS3 Update and Interview

When it was first launched back in 2010, Final Fantasy XIV for PC was criticized by players and the media, and eventually the planned PS3 version was postponed. Since then, Square Enix decided to reshuffle the leading developers of the game. Version 2.0 of the game will mark a new beginning for the game with it launches this Winter, alongside the PS3 version, hopefully.
