Guerrilla Games have revealed details of Killzone: Shadow Fall DLC season pass, as well as releasing a new trailer, which provides an action-packed look at the multiplayer mode. The first six DLC packs for the PS4 exclusive has been revealed, and include online co-op expansions, and map packs. The season pass will be available for just £15.99/€19.99, giving you access to all six DLC packs.

Quantic Dream’s Beyond: Two Souls Cost £17m To Produce

French outlet Le Figaro have revealed that Quantic Dream’s PS3 exclusive Beyond: Two Souls has a production budget of €20million (£16.9m), funded by Sony. The releases on October 11th featuring Hollywood actors Ellen Page and Willem Dafoe, and a soundtrack scored by award-winning composer Hans Zimmer.
Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Opening Cutscene Revealed

Square-Enix has released the opening cutscene from upcoming Final Fantasy XIII title, Lightning Returns, where gamers once again take on the role of Lightning, in order to save the world in 13 days. The five-minute cutscene is uncut and shows Lightning and Snow like you’ve never seen them before.

Sony have announced that the PlayStation Network will be undergoing maintenance this Wednesday, 25th September 2013, with the downtime affecting your evening gaming session. The PlayStation Network will be offline between 3:00 PM until 3:00 AM on Thursday, 16th September 2013.
Voice Commands and Facial Recognition Confirmed for PS4

Sony has confirmed that the PS4 will feature Kinect-like features with the use of the camera, including voice commands to navigate through the operating system and facial recognition. The features were previously leaked in the PS4 listing on Amazon, but confirmed at Sony’s TGS Conference last week.

Capcom Reveals Deep Down will be Free-to-Play

Capcom has announced that PS4 exclusive title Deep Down will be free-to-play when it releases on the console next year, and that a open beta for the game will be available nearer to launch. The news was confirmed in a tweet by Sony Worldwide Studios President Shuhei Yoshida.

Grand Theft Auto V has been a massive success for Rockstar Games, having taken in over $1 billion in global retail sales in its first three days on sale. The game became the UK’s fastest selling game, selling 1.57 million units across all platforms. The game made $800 million on launch day on launch day alone through worldwide sales.
Sony Making a Loss on PS4, Expecting Profits from PlayStation Plus and Games

As is usual with new consoles, Sony won’t be making a profit on the PS4 hardware at launch, Eurogamer reports. However, Sony expects some profit from users signing up to PlayStation Plus and purchasing at least one launch title. Sony is selling the PS4 at a loss of approximately $60 a unit – around the cost of a game in the US.
