This week, we’ve already had the discovery of the PS3 ‘root key’, but now it seems to be the PSP’s time in the hacking spotlight. Videos doing the rounds today show an ISO loader running on the previously hack-proof PSPgo. Sony’s battel with piracy on the PSP is well known, and the PSPgo was an attempt to counter the attempts.
This week on the PSP Comic Store, and the first update for 2011 brings three great value bundles, compiling a Green Lantern story arc and the best of DC’s Vertigo and WildStorm imprints. You can also find Zombo from 2000AD, Batman Beyond Vol. 4 from DC Comics and more Ultimate Fantastic Four from Marvel.

These could be real images or they could be PSM3’s representation of what the next iteration of the PSP will look like. If you are looking to get hold of a new PlayStation Handheld, you can expect the PlayStation Phone to be announced in February next year. Rumors suggest the phone will be announced in February, followed by a launch in April. In the meantime Sony has trademarked several names in relation to “mobile phones and accessories for mobile phones.”
