According to the latest rumors, Sony is also working on a nunchuck attachment for the motion controller. Sony’s Arc / Gem controller is rumored to be arriving in two wireless parts: the glowing stick we’ve seen before and a “nunchuck” that will feature a number of buttons, including an analogue stick, Square, Circle and even L1 and R1.

Star Wars and Indiana Jones Come to PlayStation Home
While Europe gets the LocoRoco Island and MotorStorm Spaces this week, the US has it’s own set of new content available in PlayStation Home. The US is also getting the same two game spaces in addition to great new content. You can pick up full Star Wars gear from the Mall, including lightsabers, Stormtrooper costumes, and more.
More Minis Now Have A Mini Price

Today, more minis titles have been reduced in price. Some of the best selling titles from the minis category start from just €1.49 / £1.24. Best of all, the minis work on both the PSP and PS3. The price reduction is only effective for a limited time only, ending on March 4th 2010.
Motion Controller Called “Gem” By Disney

The Motion Controller has been called Gem once again. This time, by Steve Wadsworth, President of Disney Interactive Media Group, at the 2010 DICE Summit. Wadsworth started out showing a highlight reel of Disney games, including titles such as Pure, Split Second, and the upcoming Toy Story 3 game.
PlayStation Home Update Brings LocoRoco Personal Space

This week on PlayStation Home, a number of new spaces become available including the Loco Island personal space and brand new Mui Mui Ship public space, along with the MotorStorm Carrier. The MotorStorm carrier is a decommissioned aircraft Carrier and comes complete with a number of mini-games, quests and funky rewards.
MAG Patch v1.02 Available Today

MAG patch v1.02 is now available to download addressing feedback from players. A number of Field Support adjustments have been made to the game that should help you steer through the battlefield more effectively. These fixes will also clean things up for players of other classes who don’t have a need to see who is hurt and who isn’t.
Modern Warfare 2 Patch v1.09

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 has been patched on the PS3 to version 1.09. The patch, which weighs in at around 15mb fixes a number of issues including the care package glitches in the game and extra measures to prevent experience point hacking.
Darksiders Demo Coming Feb 25th 2010

If you haven’t had a chance to play Darksiders yet, you will be able to download an extensive demo of the game next week. The demo will feature 90 minutes of game play and contain the entire first dungeon encounter from the game, the sprawling Twilight Cathedral. The level will include dozens of puzzles for players to solve, new pieces of equipment to discover and epic boss battles against the monstrous demon Jailer and the savage bat-winged Tiamat.
UK PlayStation Video Store Update for Feb 15th 2010

If you missed out on the Valentine’s Day special offers on the Video Store, the offer continued until this Thursday February 18th. A selection of movies, such as Cruel Intentions, School of Seduction and Fatal Attraction are available for you to own starting from £5.99. As for new movies this week, a total of 13 new titles are available for purchase and over 15 available for rent.
PlayStation Network Maintenance

The PlayStation Network will be undergoing some scheduled maintenance tomorrow, lasting for a hour and a half. As usual, no information on the maintenance was divulged, except that it would take place between 4:00pm and 5:30pm GMT on February 16th 2010. During the downtime you will not be able to sign into any PSN services (account management, PlayStation Store, forums etc).
