Heavy Rain is officially out in North America and is rolling out across Europe throughout the week, but not all is well with the highly anticipated title. Up on booting the game for the first time players are prompted to download a 230MB patch which appears to be causing issues for some. The purpose of the patch is currently unknown as no official changelog was released.
Not only does God of War III have no hard drive installation, a tweet from Christer Ericson, the Director of Technology at Sony Santa Monica Studio, also states that the game has “seamless loading” and over 10 hours of “play uninterrupted by load screens.” This is an amazing feat considering that all the data will be loaded from the disc, which will contain over 35GB of game data.
The latest Borderlands DLC, The Secret Armory of General Knoxx, hits the PlayStation Store tomorrow and along with it a new patch will also be released on all platforms. The patch fixes a number of issues in the game and also re-balances some of the game elements. The changelog of the update can be found below.

According to new paperwork filed with the FCC, Sony is looking to launch two new PS3 slim models. The new models, CECH-2101A and CECH-2101B, filed by Sony’s pseudonym company Sand Dollar Enterprise, has similar components to the existing slim model including the same Bluetooth and Wifi components.
