The GAME Moonbase is set on the Moon’s surface , offering gamers an information hub, with posters, internet terminals and a video screen. On the second floor you’ll find everything you need to let your hair down: a dance floor, meeting places and more.

BAFTA Video Game Awards Predictions

The BAFTA Video Game Awards will be taking place tomorrow evening and we’ve made our predictions for the winners for some of the award categories below. So far Uncharted 2: Among Thieves has scooped up many awards over the past few months and we expect the title to do well tomorrow too.
PlayStation Move Screens and Product Information

Now that the Motion Controller has been finally given a name, Sony has also released the first high-res images of the controller itself (see below). The controller will be available to purchase as a stand-alone product or as part of a bundle, either consisting of a game, the PS3 console or the PlayStation Eye camera. Sony is looking to price a bundle consisting of a Move controller, Eye camera and game all under $100.
PlayStation Home Updated to v1.35

The PlayStation Home client has received a major update, bringing with it very significant enhancements that will make your PlayStation Home experience even better. The update faster load times, giving you quicker access to PlayStation Home and all the great content within. The new 1.35 update has also enhanced the login process. Now, once you have launched into PlayStation Home from the XMB, you will be transported directly to a new intuitive navigator, without the need to click through message screens.
US Video Store Update for Mar 12th 2010

Whether you’ve never watched the show before, or are a die-hard Barney fan, you can check out the Bro Code Six-Pack, a selection of HIMYM episodes hand-picked by Neil Patrick Harris himself, under Featured Collections.
For new release movies this week, Boondock Saints II and Pirate Radio steal the show. Pirate Radio is based on a true story, and it came to PlayStation Store prior to its DVD release. It’s available now to rent or own in HD.

US Video Store Update for Mar 5th 2010

There are a lot of items to note on the Store this week, such as a new GameTrailers TV episode highlighting the upcoming release of God of War III, Where the Wild Things Are, and 2012. The store also has a selection of Magnolia titles on sale now. The collection of films can be found under Featured Collection on the Video Store. Food Inc., The Girlfriend Experience, and Ong Bak 2 are just some of the titles marked down now for a limited time.
Sony Acquires LittleBigPlanet Developer Media Molecule

In a press release today, Sony Computer Entertainment (SCE) announced that it had acquired leading game developer Media Molecule, creator of the multi-million selling and multi-award winning PlayStation 3 exclusive title, LittleBigPlanet. Media Molecule will join as part of SCEs global development operation, SCE Worldwide Studios (SCE WWS).
Heavy Rain Glitch Brings Accidental Nudity

The Heavy Rain glitches caused by the patch we reported last week are having some unusual consequences in the game. Kotaku reports a glitch one gamer experienced in which Madison Paige was completely in the buff. We have a clip and description of the glitch below for your viewing pleasure but be warned that the clip is NOT SAFE FOR WORK and contains SPOILERS.
PlayStation 3 Working As Normal

Its safe for you to boot up your PS3 today and resume using it as normal. Sony’s fix for yesterday’s problems were to simply wait until March 2nd 2010, so the PS3 thinks its the March 1st. Sony’s original statement indicated that a patch would be released to resolve the issue, but it seems Sony were simply stalling, “We hope to resolve this problem within the next 24 hours.”
