In a tweet yesterday, Returnal Developer Housemarque has revealed that a patch is available for the game, adding support for the PS5 Pro. According to the tweet, the patch will feature up to 2.5x more pixels on the PS5 Pro.
Returnal Patch v03.000.005 is 61.9 GB in size, and once installed, the PS5 Pro will be able to run the game with up to 2.5x more pixels than the base PS5. Unfortunately, it does not look like the game has been updated to support 120fps for the PS5 Pro.
At time of writing, the PlayStation Store listing has not been updated to indicate that the game is “PS5 Pro Enhanced”.
