The PlayStation Portal has received a new firmware update. The update is a minor one, with the release notes indicating that system performance has been improved. This update is the first of 2024 for the portable device, with PS Portal System Software v2.0.5 released back in December 2023.
You can update your PlayStation Portal by going to [Settings] > [System] > [System Software] > [Update System Software]. The update is required, so you will need to update the software before you can connect to a PS5.
