As reported over the weekend, England is going into a second lockdown from 5th November 2020, for at least four weeks. GAME has confirmed that PS5 and Xbox Series X|S in-store pre-orders will be affected unless the consoles are paid for in full by close of business on Wednesday, 4th November 2020.
If you have a in-store pre-order with GAME in England, you MUST visit the store today or tomorrow and get your pre-order paid in full if you want to pick up on launch day. The following statement was tweeted by GAME yesterday:
The UK government has confirmed that click-and-collect orders can still be picked-up during the lockdown, so Xbox Series X|S and PS5 pre-orders that are complete can be picked up on the respective launch days. Payments will not be accepted on the day, so you must complete your payment soon.
This does not affect any online pre-orders, which are still scheduled to be delivered on launch day.
