505 Games and Remedy Entertainment have announced Control Ultimate Edition, a bundle that will include Control and its two expansions, The Foundation and AWE. This new edition will also allow owners to upgrade the game to the PS5 or Xbox Series X version when they are released.
However, those that already own the game will not get a free upgrade to the next-gen version, and neither will they get a discount on the new Ultimate Edition. The new edition will be priced at a reasonable £29.99, while the current Standard Edition is currently £49.99 on the PlayStation Store (but has dropped as low as £15.99 recently).
The Ultimate Edition (digital) will be releasing on PS4 and Xbox One on 10th September, with the next-gen digital versions and physical PS4 / Xbox One editions expected before the end of the year.
