Sony has announced a new State of Play broadcast to take place this week, on Thursday, 6th August 2020. The 40-minute broadcast will take place at 9:00pm BST / 10:00pm CEST / 1:00pm Pacific Time / 4:00pm Eastern Time, and will focus on third-party games coming to the PS4 and PlayStation VR.
The broadcast will also include updates on a few PS5 games, including third-party and indie titles revealed in June’s PS5 reveal.
Sony has also make it clear that this broadcast will not include any updates on hardware, business, PS5 pre-orders or the PS5’s release date. While the rumors of the event were true, it doesn’t look like Sony are quite ready to reveal the PS5’s launch date or price.
