Insomniac Games has revealed that upcoming PS5 title, Spider-Man: Miles Morales, will include a optional Performance Mode, which will allow gamers to run the game at 4K / 60 FPS. The announcement was made via the Insomnia’s twitter account.
By default, the game will run at 4K / 30 FPS (where 4K is supported), but will offer better visual quality including ray tracing at this level compared to Performance Mode. It remains to be seen what other compromises will need to be made to allow the Performance Mode to work.
